Gund Bears

Gund was founded by German immigrant Adolph Gund in 1898. It was one of the first companies to produce teddy bears. When Gund retired in 1925 he sold the business to Jacob Swedlin, who had worked for Gund since 1907. It has stayed in Swedlin's family since then with his grandson, Bruce Raiffe, as the company's current president. They are based in Edison, NJ and are well known for their slogan "Gotta Getta Gund Ž".
